We are proud to welcome five new members to team Distinctive! Having seen the mobile games industry go through an amazing transformation, we are now living through exciting times of growth and diversification. We have made a name for ourselves working for a number of high-profile clients from EA to Square Enix, so now is the time to invest in our own publishing business as well.
This recruitment drive is a part of our strategy of both growing the product portfolio as well as transforming the internal processes to adopt a more service-minded approach to games publishing. To support the new service concept, we have set up a new team, ‘Launch & Live’, which will take over the life-cycle management for our two games labels: sports-focused Distinctive Games and the socially casual Bad Puppet. The newly formed team will welcome Buxton-native Media Production graduate Rebecca Sweetmore as the Junior Project Manager. The team will also be joined by Ashley Muncaster, a keen programmer come musician from South Lincolnshire as the Junior Games Programmer.
Our main development team also welcomes three new members. Andrea Redhead joins the Company as a Junior Programmer following completion of her MComp Games Software Development degree at Sheffield Hallam University. She will be working closely with Distinctive Tools & Technology team to develop and maintain our proprietary development tools. Matthew While, a former programming intern of Distinctive, will also be returning back to the family as a Graduate Programmer. Last but not least, Ben Homer will join the Distinctive team for the summer as a Junior Programmer.
Big warm welcome to our new recruits from the whole Distinctive crew!
Ps. If you are interested in joining our team, please review the Jobs page for our current vacancies!
